Joker joins Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Nintendo announced during the Game Awards 2018 that Persona 5’s protagonist: Joker will join Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
After the announcement of Joker, Reggie Fils-Aime, said that the team working on the DLCs for the game wants characters that are unique and different. Also the team sees the possibility of including characters from franchises not very related to Nintendo.

Masahiro Sakurai, creator of the Super Smash Bros franchise, adds the new characters thinking that they can bring the most fun and enjoyment for the player.

Fils-aime also encouraged the fans to buy the Fighter Pass, with which they can get the new fighters as soon as they’re available.
After being questioned about more characters of Persona 5, Fils-Aime just mentioned that they are just trying to put the best content on their platform and that the best develolopers are being selected for the new characters.
