Bird Box Review

I finally had the chance to watch it. I have actually been wanting to watch it for a while but my SO wanted me to wait for him (of course). I know most of you can relate. The thing is, I could not wait any longer (sorry babe). Anyways, back to about the movie.

Bird Box is a Netflix Original movie and has been available since December 21 2018. It is starred by Sandra Bullock, you may know her from Miss Congeniality (1&2). She plays as a woman who basically does not care what people think of her. In the other hand in Bird Box, she does the best that she can to survive the apocalypse. The apocalypse where an unknown “entity” takes the world by surprise. Once you set your eyes on them, for just a split second, you die. The entity turns into the thing of your worst fear, which then makes you want to commit suicide. I know, scary right? She embarks on a suicidal journey through the woods, while being blindfolded with two young kids!

Throughout the movie there was constant suspense, that had me at the edge of my seat. Due to not being able to know what happens next. This is exactly what I like in a movie/show. I will rate this movie 8 out of 10. Why that score? Even though I really liked Bird Box, it doesn’t give us the result we were expecting and occasionally may feel like there could have been more, as if it was uncooked, you know what I mean, right?
